Special Wine & Art
Instructor: Vanessa Brown
6-8 pm Thursday, March 23
Join us on Thursday, March 23 for a very special Wine & Art event.  The Figge is collaborating on an installation with artist Jean Shin to create: Jean Shin - MAiZE a Collaborative Creation with the Figge Art Museum. The artist's vision is defined by using recycled green plastic pop bottles repurposed in the shape of cornstalks in order to build a maze installation on the 3rd floor gallery. The Figge is working with schools and a number of community organizations to collect over 10,000 bottles which will be used to construct approximately 1,200 'cornstalks'.  Your work will be a part of this monumental art installation at the Figge!  As always, you'll enjoy wine, light hors d'oeuvres and creative camaraderie.
