About

Mexican/Latinx multidisciplinary artist Tlisza Jaurique will use her inherited indigenous upbringing and aesthetics to create an intervention surrounding the Figge’s Spanish Vice Regal collection. This reexamination of the art in this space provides a different viewpoint and allows for a shared authority of the collection. Developing a relationship with Jaurique opens art opportunities in the future that will allow audiences to view art through multiple lenses.
