About
Terry Rathje ALLINITOGETHER
This temporary sculptural installation on the Figge’s Bechtel Plaza uses a honeycomb structure to suggest the social cooperation of bees. In walking through individual chambers of this “hive” to reach the central chamber, where a “queen bee” would reside, visitors are invited to reflect on the ways in which their lives are structured.
This exhibition will be on view until September 1, 2015.
Sponsored by Riverboat Development Authority and Quad City Arts Dollar$ funds, provided by Hubbell-Waterman Foundation, Illinois Arts Council Agency, John Deere Foundation and the Doris and Victor Day Foundation.
