Clay Quilts
Instructor: Linda Hardin
Age Range: Adult
Skill Level: Beginner
Class Description: Students will learn to create a mixed media "quilt", combining several mediums into a finished piece of art. Experiment with various textures and glaze options as you create your quilt pieces. After these have been fired, the clay tiles will be stitched onto a paper pulp and wire background. The finished piece is then framed and ready to hang!
Supplies: All supplies are provided. You are welcome to wear your own apron or old t-shirt while working with clay. You may also bring a cloth towel to use during class.
