Soft Cut Printmaking

Skill Level: Beginner
Class Description: Students will explore the technique of soft cut, an ideal introduction to the art of relief printing. Throughout the class, students will learn about printmaking materials and tools, basic carving techniques, methods to design and transfer your image to a printing block, applying ink to create the final print. This class is perfect for all skill levels looking to engage in printmaking.

Cancellation Policy: Classes are eligible for a full refund up to 2 weeks before the start date for the class. Refunds within 2 weeks of the start date of the class will be for 50% of the original price. Transfers into other classes will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Photography Policy: By completing the registration for this class, you are giving your consent for the Figge Art Museum to use any photographs taken of you during the class for marketing purposes.
