Study the methods and techniques of the Impressionist painters: Monet, Degas, Morisot, Cassatt, Matisse, Pissarro, Breck, and more. “Light is might” in making your subject matter as the focal point through the use of broken lines and loose and fluent brushwork, in order to create a more relaxed composition.
