Art of the Brew at the Figge Art Museum

Davenport, Iowa (Tuesday, April 11, 2023) — If you love craft beer and giving back, then kick off the weekend at the Figge Art Museum for the first annual Art of the Brew event on Friday, April 14.

Ten local breweries including 5ive Cities Brewing, Front Street Brewery & Taproom, Midwest Ale Works, Bootleg Hill Honey Meads, Stompbox Brewing, Radicle Effect Brewerks, Bent River Brewing Co., Rebels & Lions Brewing, Twin Span Brewing and Contrary Brewing Co. will have tasting booths inside the Figge where guests are invited to sample a wide selection of craft beers and meads all in support of the museum.

Enjoy live music, complimentary snacks, and giveaways while using your souvenir tasting glass at each station. Bring cash to try your luck with a spin (or spins!) on the Wheel of Mystery Beer ($5 Spin/$25 Build Your Own Mystery Six-Pack).

“Brewing beer is an artform; we have so many terrific local breweries in the Quad Cities that believe in the importance of art,” said Figge Membership Coordinator Carlie Allison, “We’re excited to be able to offer this event to the community and hope that it engages both new and existing museum-goers.”

Art of the Brew runs from 5-8 p.m. As a special offer, general admission tickets are $25 ($10 Off!) from today until Friday, April 14 at Noon. Tickets will be available at the door for $35. For early access to the Brew, a limited number of VIP tickets will be available for just $50 each. VIP tickets include reserved seating, complimentary snack bar, full-Size/16oz souvenir glass and the opportunity to come early and tour the museum from 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
