Natural Dye Workshop for Teachers (Morning Session)

Skill Level: Beginner
Class Description: K-12 teachers will have the opportunity to engage in a creative learning experience that combines art, history, botany, and chemistry in this workshop. The instructor will cover methods that include indigo, resist/immersion, and eco-print techniques. With funding from the Iowa Art Council and National Endowment for the Arts, this event will be offered free to participants. Registration for the morning or afternoon sessions is required to attend.
Supplies: All materials provided.
Cancellation Policy: Classes are eligible for a full refund up to 2 weeks before the start date for the class. Refunds within 2 weeks of the start date of the class will be for 50% of the original price. Transfers into other classes will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Photography Policy: By completing the registration for this class, you are giving your consent for the Figge Art Museum to use any photographs taken of you during the class for marketing purposes. We appreciate your support in helping us share the impact of our art classes with a wider community audience.
