Call for Entries Rock Island Art Guild Fine Arts Exhibition at the Figge Art Museum
Davenport, Iowa (October 17, 2023) — The Rock Island Art Guild and Figge Art Museum are seeking entries for the 43rd Rock Island Art Guild Fine Arts Exhibition that will be on view at the museum February 17–June 16, 2024.
Artists living within 200 miles of the Figge Art Museum working in any medium, including performance, sound, video, digital art, painting, sculpture, mixed media, and works on paper, are encouraged to apply.
Artists may submit up to three works for consideration, per $35 application fee. Awards will be given for first and second place as well as several other categories. Exhibition juror Mia Laufer, Associate Curator at the Des Moines Art Center in Des Moines, Iowa will select the works in the exhibition as well as the award winners.

About the Rock Island Art Guild:
The Rock Island Art Guild was founded in 1955 by a group of individuals who wanted to cultivate an active interest in local and regional artists in addition to promoting and fostering the appreciation of the visual arts in the Quad Cities.
About the Figge Art Museum:
The Figge Art Museum is dedicated to bringing art and people together. Located on the Mississippi River in downtown Davenport at 225 West Second Street, the Figge is the premier art exhibition and education facility between Chicago and Des Moines. Admission to the museum is $10 for adults, $6 for seniors and students with ID and $4 children ages 4-12. Admission is free to Figge members and institutional members and to all on Thursday evenings.
