Climate Change Documentary & Panel Presentation
November 21, 2019 | 6:00pm - 9:00pm

LOCATION: Figge Art Museum

The Figge will present a screening of the documentary Paris to Pittsburgh in the John Deere Auditorium followed by a panel presentation by local environmental experts. This event will take place during the Truth in Action’s “24 Hours of Reality” program. Truth in Action is a daylong global conversation on the climate crisis and how we solve it, led by Climate Reality Leaders trained by former Vice President Al Gore. For a full 24 hours, Leaders will be giving free presentations on our changing climate and the solutions in our hands – and inviting audiences to join the conversation. Here’s more information on the Truth in Action program: https://www.24hoursofreality.org/

Paris to Pittsburgh is a 2018 documentary film about climate change directed by National Geographic filmmaker Sidney Beaumont and documentarian Michael Bonfiglio, produced by Bloomberg Philanthropies, National Geographic and Radical Media. More information on the documentary can be found here: https://www.paristopittsburgh.com/. Screening rights for Paris to Pittsburgh are through Iowa Interfaith Power and Light.

This is a companion program to Mia Feuer: Totems of Anthropocene currently on view in the fourth floor gallery.
